Hatim Aznague is a climate diplomat and strategic-foresight practitioner. He founded Green Diplomat in 2023 to close the gap between climate data and enforceable climate policy.

AI Policy Radar
We check every pledge against the law that should carry it.
The Radar classifies climate instruments by legal stage, from a tabled proposal to an operating statute, and links each record to the document it was checked against. Follow each instrument’s dated legal journey, compare countries side by side, test yourself, or take the open data with you.

Taken together, the new national climate plans would bring global emissions about 12% below 2019 levels by 2035. The IPCC’s 1.5°C pathways need around 60%. The distance between the two is the ambition gap, and closing it is drafting work, instrument by instrument.
